Overview

Join the thrills at Six Flags St. Louis as our next Human Resources Manager! We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused leader to oversee all aspects of our HR operations. From recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, high-performance culture across the park.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the HR team to deliver exceptional service and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and hiring for all park positions, including international programs (J1 and H2B).
• Partner with department leaders to assess staffing needs and ensure timely, effective hiring.
• Manage employee programs including transportation, housing, and wardrobe operations.
• Administer and resolve union grievances and employee relations issues with fairness and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and audit for compliance.
• Support and deliver training programs for supervisors and managers.
• Plan and promote employee engagement events and recognition programs.
• Assist with benefits administration and HR budgeting, including monthly forecasting.
• Conduct investigations and support conflict resolution as needed.
• Serve as Duty Manager and support special projects as assigned by the Director of HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in HR or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and public speaking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in amusement park operations is a plus.
