Mechanic- Union

Full-time union position will inspect, maintain, troubleshot, repair and refurbush amusement rides and their subsystems. The individual will ensure all rids and equipment comply with all operating standards and requirements.

• Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions
• Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions
• Visually insepct machines and equipment
• Remove and or replace equipment parts using hand and or power tools
• perform routing preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions
• Keep a daily log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance
• Assist with other duties/dpartments as assigned
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required
• Suppor the company Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our Guests

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Pneumatics troubleshooting and repairs working with schematic
• Mechanical repairs following ASTM ride standards
• Welding 6G certified
• Machining wxperience working from drawings using lathe and milling machine
• Must be able to trouble-shoot cearly, calmly safety and emergency equipment, including respitators and safety harnesses
• Must have hand tools to perform required duties and tasks as assigned
