Minimum starting salary: $50,000/year
As a Warehouse Supervisor at the Thrill Capital of New England…
• Supervising daily operations of the Warehouse
• Implementing and maintaining all corporate, park, and department strategies and procedures
• Coordinating the hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition, and termination
• Scheduling within established labor budget while maintaining compliance with labor laws and policies
• Maintaining the Food and Beverage and Retail inventory utilizing Six Flags programs
• Communicating with the park management team to maintain proper inventory levels
• Maintaining strong communication and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Consistently monitoring inventory to maintain accuracy and conduct monthly inventories
• Maintaining assets and operate department within established expense budget
• Ensuring a safe work environment for all warehouse team members using park safety programs
• Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse to ensure Health Department compliance
• Leading, developing, and motivating warehouse team members
• Developing and maintaining warehouse training materials
• Assisting in any other functions
• Experience in a warehouse operation, inventory, receiving, and purchasing
• Experience in a leadership role
• Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to think and act intentionally and strategically to help improve the overall operation
• Capacity for creative problem-solving
• Computer experience required; Microsoft Excel/Word, Eatec Experience (preferred, but not required)
• Strong work ethic and sense of fun
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, etc.
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment background screening
